What if the search doesn't find your deposit?
If your deposit is not protected by mydeposits, you can visit the
website and search the other two deposit protection schemes.
If our search fails to find a deposit protection, it does not necessarily mean that your deposit is not protected.
- You, or your landlord/agent, may have entered the details incorrectly. Please check and enter them again.
- Your deposit may not have been processed yet by mydeposits. Your landlord/agent has 30 days to protect your deposit.
We suggest that you do not use this facility if your tenancy has recently started.
